Teaching Assistant in Hillingdon

Are you based in the Borough of Hillingdon?

Are you looking for a full time role?

Are you a special needs teaching assistant who is based in Hillingdon and wants to support pupils with autism. This full time post, starts on the 23rd April 2019 and for the right candidate a permanent contract will be offered.

The School is split into two, 'Formal' and 'Semi-Formal' classes. 'Formal' classes focus on a mainstream curriculum such as GCSE, B-TEC and A-Level whilst 'Semi-Formal' classes focus on Life Skills which nurtures independence to low ability students.

Class info:

  • 5 Students per class
  • 1 Teacher and 2 Teaching Assistants per class
  • Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Wednesday and finishing at 5:00pm on Thursday Friday

The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting autism either in a personal or professional capacity however a calm and patient personality is valued above all.
