A dynamic Special Educational Needs School in Haywards Heath are currently looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support learners with Autism. The ideal candidate should have experience using the ABA method, Makaton and PECS or have knowledge of successful strategies to engage ASC learners. The School have a strong inclusion team who have led the way with their whole School approach and partnership with 3 other Schools across Sussex. The school need an experienced ASC TA Specialist to work independently, while also being able to work with the class teacher and under the leadership of the Inclusion Manager. You will be supporting small groups of children and working across the Year Groups so flexibility is imperative. Your previous ASC experience will be utilised to support the learners in raising their development and communication. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
