Teaching Assistant in Feltham

Are you a SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting young adults with severe autism?

Do you have a background in care or support work?

Are you based in Feitham?

Role:

Our curriculum is framed around the four themes in the Preparing for Adulthood agenda: Employment, Independent Living, Better Health, and Friends, Relationships and Community.

  • Working 1:1 with a 19 year old autistic pupil
  • Writing weekly progress reports
  • Classes focus on "Life Skills"; cooking, basic literacy and numeracy
  • Personal Care (sometimes required)

  • Hours: 8:45 to 4:30
  • Pay: £9.50 an hour
