Would you be interested in working in an all through SEN school with Primary and Secondary aged pupils?

If you answered yes then this SEN Teaching Assistant role is for you!

Our client SEN school are looking for an SEN teaching assistant to join their team, they are ideally looking for an SEN teaching assistant that has worked with children with severe needs as personal care may also be involved. As an SEN teaching assistant, you must have strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills as well as a very enthusiastic and positive manner. Experience with Makaton, PECS and BSL is also preferred for this role due to the nature of the students you will be working with.

This school is located in Bournemouth and they cater for students between the ages of 3-18 years that have complex needs including PMLD, SLD, MLD, ASD, SEMH and more. The school pride themselves in offering first class education and care to their pupils.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work on either a supply, full time or part time basis.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
