Teaching Assistant in behaviour school

Job description

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to work in our client school which specialises in Behaviour.

  • Full and Part Time hours available
  • £60-£70 per day
  • 1-1 Teaching Assistant

The school is a Pupil Referral Unit in Bournemouth, catering for Secondary aged pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education. This can include pupils who are temporarily excluded, permanently excluded and pupils with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH). The pupils can display challenging behaviour.

Due to the nature of the role, we are looking for TA's who are resilient, confident with behaviour management and have a good sense of humour.

The majority of the current vacancies are for full time, permanent who would also be able to work 1:1 or in small groups with these pupils. The ideal candidate would have previous experience working with similar needs or be passionate about working in this type of school. Candidates that are suited for this type of school tend to have experience in working with children either in sports activities or scouts.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
