Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant, possessing valid Team-Teach training, to work within a specialist SEN school in Huddersfield. The school provides a rich and varied curriculum for pupils aged 2-19 with a wide range of Special Educational Needs.

You will have a holistic approach to teaching and learning with the ability to build positive working relationships with both staff and pupils. You will work closely with your colleagues to plan and deliver high quality sessions designed to encourage positive interaction and raise self esteem. You will have the ability to promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
