We are seeking a strong behaviour teaching assistant to deliver 1:1 support for secondary pupils who have high behavioural needs and autism for an alternative provision in the Hackney location. You must have previous experience supporting pupils with special needs and challenging behaviours to deliver the adequate support needed. The 1:1 sessions will be planned and delivered in their centres, public spaces such as libraries or in the students' homes and deliver support across Maths, Science and Literacy. This post is for an immediate start, with the view to go onto a permanent contract after 17 term time weeks! The alternative provision provides in house training sessions weekly to support the development of their staff.
1:1 Behaviour teaching assistant:
- Must have previous experience working with behavioural needs and or autism
- Able to plan and deliver 1:1 sessions for secondary students
- Must be creative to bring alive the national curriculum
- Able to deliver sessions around the Hackney area
- Hours - Monday to Friday - Term time - 8.30am -3.30pm
