Job description

Are you looking to work with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Requirments? 

Teaching Personnel are looking for a full time SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in one of our fantastic Primary Schools.
The school caters for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and challenging behaviour.

This role will be based in the schools specialist resource provision with children from 4 - 11 years old.
The SRP supports vulnerable children to achieve their educational potential.
This primary school is based in the borough of Kingston Upon Thames.

The children need an assistant who is committed and passionate to their own personal learning plan. 
The school team are welcoming and friendly and will provide you with support and training. 

Graduates of psychology or previous experience working with children with SEMH is desirable. 
Pay rates are negotiable depending on your experience level. 

You:

  • A child workforce DBS, on the update service. We can help you through this if you do not have one already, we can help step by step.
  • Confident and ideally previous work with Challenging behaviour, SEMH or Special Educational Needs
  • Local to Kingston Upon Thames 
  • School hours are from 8.15am – 3.45pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
