Job description

An SEN school in Bromley is looking for a teaching assistant to work with primary school children with an immediate start after Easter. The largest majority of the children have autism often with other learning difficulties.

You are required to have the following skills/experience:

  • Experience working with SEN children of any age (primary or secondary), of any level on the SEN spectrum.
  • Working knowledge of meeting the emotional, social and mental health of young children.
  • Has a DBS on the update service, or is willing to complete a new application as soon as possible.
  • Completed relevant training (Autism Awareness, Moving and Handling, PECS, Makaton, BSL, TEAM TEACH, First Aid, are all desirable but not essential).
  • Can provide excellent references from previous employment.
  • Must live in Bromley or the surrounding areas.
