Job description

An Autism specialist school in Bromley is looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant on a full time basis.

The role pays £56 - £65 per day depending on experience and training.

The school offers full- time education for children aged 3 to 11 years old with learning difficulties ranging across the autistic spectrum; therefore you will be required to provide tailored support when necessary. This may be in the form of 1:1, 2:1 or group work.

Familiarity with PECS, TEACCH, and Applied Behaviour Analysis as methods of communication is necessary. However, the school also welcomes alternative methods of teaching, including music, sports, performing arts based approaches. Experience in teaching Maths and English is necessary, as well as knowledge of the National Curriculum.
