Teaching Assistant for Behaviour Support

We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Exeter catering for students displaying challenging behaviour. The role is 5 days a week Monday to Friday.

This particular school is ideally looking for a TA who is experienced at working with young people who have various Special Educational Needs such as:

  • ASC
  • ADHD
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
  • Learning Difficulties

The Teaching Assistant should have knowledge and understanding of:

  • the needs of young children;
  • child development and the ways in which children learn
  • the roles played by various adults in a child's education
