Teaching Assistant - Ely

Full time and part time positions available

We are looking to appoint a new teaching assistant to support students in a primary school near Ely.

Your role will be to support and engage a group of students with Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students are taught in a small class size and their will be additional support staff in the classroom with you as well.

The school are searching for somebody who is preferably experienced working with children who have SEMH needs. They need somebody who can be a role model for this group of young people, help them engage with their education and manage any challenging behaviour they may have.

The ideal candidate for this role should have any of the following:

  • SEN Teaching Assistant experience
  • Education Support Experience
  • Youth Support Worker
  • Young Offender Support
  • Child Counselling
  • Sports Coaching

We are looking for somebody to start immediately in this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
