EYFS Teaching Assistant
Temporary to Permanent role
Pay rate: £11.85 - £12.55 per hour (AWR will come into effect after 12 working weeks)
An OFSTED 'GOOD' school in Nelson (BB9) are recruiting a Level 2 EYFS practitioner. This is a full-time opportunity working alongside professionals who are passionate about working within Early Years. This is a new role in school and is due to begin from September 2023. The working hours for this role are 8:30-15:30 Monday-Friday term time only. This role has been created because of an increase in pupil numbers. Senior Leaders and staff pride themselves in having positive relationships with parents and the wider community. This is a lovely welcoming community school and the Headteacher is driven to provide a stimulating and creative learning environment for our youngest pupils.

Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education.
- Experience of working alongside children within the EYFS and planning and delivering around the EYFS curriculum.
- Experience of observing, monitoring, and recording the development of children.
- Strong communication skills whilst working within a team and confidence working within a busy working environment.
- Confident liaising with parents of young children.
- Ideally have expereince working with children with additional needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
