Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Congleton)

Location: Congleton, Cheshire

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Congleton. This is a short-term role to provide classroom support and help pupils thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Assist pupils with their learning, ensuring inclusion for all.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive atmosphere.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support where needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable.
• A positive, proactive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Contract Details:

• Start: Immediate
• Finish: February Half Term
• Hours: Full-time, term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
