Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Chorley based SEN School who are currently seeking a hard working, enthusiastic and experienced Teaching and Learning Support Assistant who has experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours. The School is smaller than average and is based on the outskirts of the Chorley area with close links to public transport and plenty of on site parking. The role will be full time, starting ideally after the Easter holidays.

The School is smaller than average and currently has under 100 pupils on roll through KS1-4, meaning the generally speaking class sizes are under 10 pupils per class. The School has a real welcoming feel, the staff are supportive and the work is rewarding.

The role is full time and the School hours are 8.45am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday, the role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who are often disengaged with education.
