Job description

We are looking for Teaching Assistants to join our partner School in the Chichester area. The successful applicant will enjoy a rewarding and exciting career, gaining experience in the Education sector and experience working with vulnerable young people. As a Teaching Assistant you will work on a 1-1 basis with children with a variety of Special Educational Needs. You will need a calm disposition and strong work ethic to succeed, coupled with excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills.

The School is a mainstream Secondary School based in the heart of Chichester, and currently has 1200 Students on roll. The Schools Student and Staff population is diverse and you will be joining a vibrant School community recently graded "Good by Ofsted.

The role itself is full time but candidates looking for part time will still be considered, especially those with relevant experience. Experience in working with Special Educational Needs and with under 16's is desirable but not essential. You will work collaboratively both inside the SEN department and across the School, so flexibility and passion for learning is essential.
