Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit motivated, energetic and ambitious Sports Graduates for Learning Support Assistant roles across Primary schools throughout Cardiff.
These available positions range from long term to short term offers, with flexible hours and days of work, to fit your needs, aspirations and your lifestyle. For example : if you are a part time student, we can accommodate you in a part time role.
Our partner schools have been enquiring about the availability of graduates from September 2018 to take on Special Educational Needs focused roles, including one-to-one or small group support for children with Autism, Social & Emotional Behaviour Disorder, Social & Emotional Mental Health and ADHD, amongst others. The ideal candidates will need to be passionate about Education and Child Development, have a strong but nurturing nature and a passion for sports, to be utilised to work efficiently with children who are facing difficulties within a full classroom setting.
Located in safe and central areas, all of our schools offer fantastic opportunities for young graduates to add relevant experience to their CV, with children aged 3 to 11. We are therefore looking for candidates willing to develop their skills whilst involved in the Education system, with excellent professional growth and development opportunities. Ideal candidates must relate to children on an individual level as well as creating a fun and stimulating environment and maintaining high standards of education.
Applicants must :
- Have the legal right to work in the UK
- Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one - full assistance provided)
- Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (compulsory requirement in Wales) - please note that if you are living in England, you can still register with the EWC which will give you the opportunity to work on both sides of the border
- Provide two professional or character references
- Be available to interview and/or trial asap
- Be available to start on short notice
- Be living in Cardiff and/or have plans to move to Cardiff in the near future and/or be willing to travel to Cardiff
