Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to secure a long-term role?

Here at Teaching Personnel, we are currently seeking a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant for a large Primary School based in Hammersmith!

The enthusiastic starter will be passionate in working in the education sector and happy to commute to a school local to Hammersmith station. We require a Teaching Assistant of Key Stage 1 (KS1) and can work 5 days per week. The ideal Teaching Assistant will have the TA Level 3 qualification or great experience in working with children. You will be a personable and determined Teaching Assistant that is genuinely passionate about the development of your students and you will have the ability to form strong relationships with your students to get the best out of them.

A successful Teaching Assistant will:

  • CACHE Level 2 or 3
  • Show a genuine interest in helping children and building them to a brighter future
  • Commute to the local schools
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one if successful
  • Able to be hands on in helping to assist the class lessons
  • Having the experience in working with children previously.

Extra consideration will be made if you have:

  • Early Childhood Degree
  • CACHE Level 4 (HLTA)
  • Previous experience worked with SEN
  • Drive to develop career in education
  • Extra relating courses

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Registration is subject to an Enhanced DBS, valid references from recent employers and proof of right to work in the UK (AGY).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
