An Ofsted 'Good' is a Secondary SEMH School school in the Horwich area of Bolton. They are looking for a learning mentor who has a horticulture or construction background, You will be supporting young people who have various needs such as ADHD and Social and Emotional difficulties. They are looking for the learning mentor to start straight way, with the position being 3 days a week.
To be considered for this opportunity you must be/have;
" A Degree or a minimum A-level equivalent qualifications
" Experience of Horticulture or Construction
" Experience working with secondary aged pupils in a similar capacity
" Commitment to a full time position, starting ASAP for 6 weeks with an option of it being extended
" Knowledge of safeguarding or be willing to complete our FREE course
" Available for school hours (8:30-15:30)
The provision is situated in the Horwich area of Bolton and is easily reached via driving . The school require a learning mentor to join them on a full time basis straight away, you will be fully supported by qualified teachers and assist with sporting activities and vocational study. If you have a background in Horticulture or Construction and want to combine your experience with classroom based work, as well as providing vocational activities this could be perfect for you. As an added incentive the daily rate for this school is £60-£80 per day dependant on experience.
