Teaching Assistant - Bolton

Job description

Are you an engaging and empathetic individual? Do you have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? Would you like to support primary aged pupils in a unique learning environment?

I am looking for an exceptional learning support assistant to support a small class of pupils with behavioural needs at a school in Bolton. This school is proud to provide a stimulating, supportive and safe learning environment to assist each pupil to develop the skills and confidence to achieve their potential.

They place a high emphasis on inter-disciplinary working, with on site speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and a full time nurse on site. If this sounds like an environment you could contribute to, please get in touch.

The ideal candidate would have experience in one or more of the following areas.

  • Youth Work
  • Residential Support
  • Previous support experience in a school environment
  • Sports coaching Team teach training is desirable also.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
