Full time Teaching Assistant required for a Bolton based Secondary school from November 2018.
Due to a member of staff within the support department on long term sickness leave, this well respected Secondary school are seeking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their support provisions after half term.
If you have prior experience supporting with the teaching and learning of young people and wish to pursue a career within the education sector then please see the details below;
- Full time Teaching Assistant required from November 2018.
- Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary school.
- Must have prior experience working with young people alongside a minimum of a degree level qualification to be considered.
- Access to CPD training programmes which include; 'Effective Behaviour Management Skills' 'SEN Carousel' and 'Safeguarding and Child Protection'.
- Earn up to £1200 per month whilst gaining invaluable experience.
Our client Secondary school has a growing staff team of specialist utilised to provide guided support to young people across Key stages 3/4 and GCSE. The incoming Teaching Assistant will be working with identified pupils alongside the class teacher and within small dedicated groups.
The responsibilities for the successful Teaching Assistant will include;
- Working alongside the class teacher to support identified pupils within the classroom setting.
- Support on a 1:1 basis and small intervention based groups at the discretion of Senior Leadership Team.
- General cover responsibilities may apply, at the discretion of the school, with full support provided.
- Promote a growth mind set and manage behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy.
Locate in the Farnworth area of Bolton the school has just over 500 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 and can easily be accessed via the M60, as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan.
