A Head Teacher in a Blackburn School is looking to recruit an experienced and hard working Teaching Assistant to work with their pupils who have a range of special educational needs. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for KS3/4 pupils who have additional needs. The School caters for pupils with Autism, Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities and SEMH Difficulties.

The School are seeking a Teaching Assistant who has experience working with adults or children with special educational needs and candidates must be willing to provide personal care when required. The School are hoping to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long term, full time basis and School hours are 8.25am - 3pm monday - friday.

The candidate applying for this role must have experience working with adults or children with disabilities and be willing to work with pupils who may display challenging behaviours. The candidate must be available full time and be available to start within the next 4 weeks.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day

- Long term position available

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
