Teaching Personnel are working with a Specialist School in Poole who are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in KS2. The school are a supportive and friendly network with excellent facilities.

  • Full Time Role - Mon-Fri, 8.30-3.30
  • September Start
  • £9 per hour

The child displays challenging behaviour and requires 1-1 support both inside and out of the classroom.

The successful TAs daily duties will include;

* Providing 1:1 support for the child

* Helping the child to socially interact with other children

* Use your initiative to differentiate activities to support the child's needs

* Work closely with the class teacher to give the child the best support

* Follow an EHC plan and reward system for the child

To be a successful candidate for this role you will need to;

* Have previous experience working within a school

* Be able to communicate effectively with different members of staff and parents

* Have knowledge of the National Curriculum

* Have a friendly caring personality

* Preferably an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning in the Classroom

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
