Teaching Assistant (Behaviour) - Failsworth

Job description

There are multiple positions available for Teaching Assistants (behaviour) commencing as soon as possible and running until the end of the academic year.

This role will involve working across specialist provisions which cater for pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviours. This role will involve working 5 days per week Monday - Friday 8.30 - 4.30pm. As a Teaching Assistant you will work directly with pupils with SEMH and challenging behaviours. Due to the nature of the needs of the pupils who attend this setting it would be ideal for Teaching Assistants to have either personal or professional experience working with pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour.

Due to the nature of the needs of the young people you work with you will need:

  • Experience working with children and young people in any educational setting
  • A non-judgemental approach
  • A full drivers licence and access to your own car
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with children and young people from a range of diverse backgrounds
  • High levels of physical and emotional resilience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
