Job description

With great focus on improving pupil attainment, this school is looking for a like-minded individual with the necessary skills and experience to aid improving pupils learning.

Role duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting regular class teacher in delivering the curriculum to a high quality
  • Lead/assist with small group interventions
  • Provide individual support to pupils to ensure social and academic potential is fulfilled
  • Prepare learning materials
  • Support children during break and lunch times where necessary

The right candidate will be extremely confident in their own abilities and will have no hesitation working with children with additional needs. Strong literacy and numeracy skills are also desirable.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
