Job description

Teaching personnel is currently working with an ASD provision within an Oxfordshire secondary that is looking for a teaching assistant to join them in the new academic year. The school caters for pupils aged 11 to 16 and has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in every category.

You will be working with year 7-9 pupils , although flexibility is highly valued as you may on occasion be required to work with older pupils. You will have experience working in a similar environment and will be happy to provide mentoring, 1:1 support with .

The provision is specialist and includes an on-site multi-disciplinary team including a Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Speech and Language. The school boasts small class sizes with 1:1 intervention support for the pupils.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience at a specialist ASD setting in Oxford. By working with Teaching Personnel you will work with a dedicated Consultant

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
