Teaching Assistant, ASC Specialist

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a KS3-KS4 SEN Teaching Assistant, experienced in supporting students with autism and moderate learning difficulties for a SEN school in Doncaster to commence as soon as possible on a part time basis, 3 days per week.

Ideally applicants would have experience with ASC and moderate learning difficulties in a SEN school setting from KS3 - KS4. Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness are desired but not mandatory. We would also welcome applicants with relevant transferable skills such as Youth Workers or Support Workers as well as recent graduates.

Our ideal candidate will have:

-3 months experience supporting students with ASC and SLD in a mainstream or SEN setting between KS3 - KS4

-Experience with Team Teach, PBS or challenging behaviours

-NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Supporting and Learning in Schools or recent graduate

-Patient and nurturing mannerism
