Location: Preston
Contract: Full-Time

About the Role

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and engage pupils in upper Key Stage 2, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum for Year 5.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development.
  • Uphold school policies on safeguarding and behaviour management.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable).
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
  • A passion for education and commitment to pupil success.
