Job description

Teacher in Peckham required for a 1 month sickness cover for Year 3.

Pay in range of £600-750 depending on experience.

Start date 19/02/2018 after Feb half term.

One of our schools which has been rated 'Good' in the last Ofsted report in Peckham is currently recruiting for a fully qualified teacher (FQT / QTS) who is confident in the primary curriculum especially KS2 and can do a one month cover for a school. The school is looking for a full-time, short-term role who can teach Year 3. There is potential for this to be a position which can be permanent after this school year. The location of the school is Peckham which is near the national rail station which has direct routes from central and east London.

The ideal candidate is someone who is confident and has a passion for delivering education to younger pupils. It is essential that the candidate is a FQT and overseas qualified teachers would also be considered. You would be required to play a important role for the pupils as they would be KS2 and learning a lot more. Experience is preferred for this role as you will be in control of a whole class with help from one Teacher Assistant; all relevant qualifications would be required for this role.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
