Are you a Teaching Assistant for a big class and seeking a new challenge?

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary SEN School in Bournemouth, seeking a 1-1 TA to work with pupils from 5-19.

The school is a primary setting catering for pupils with behaviour needs, including ADHD, Autism and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health). The school has very small class sizes (of around 6-8 pupils) and has a high level of support staff. The pupils can display challenging behaviour.

We are looking for a 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in KS2-KS4. You will be supporting the pupil both inside and outside of the classroom.

The be successful in this role you should:

  • have experience working within a primary school setting
  • be enthusiastic about supporting pupils with SEN
  • be resilient, creative and fun
  • have good behaviour management

Although experience specifically in these areas are NOT REQUIRED!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
