We are currently seeking a Fully Qualified Teacher for a full-time role in a Primary Special Needs School within the borough of Ealing.
Location: Sudbury Hill, Ealing
Hours: 8:30 - 4:00pm Monday to Friday
Pay rate: GBP130 upwards (dependent on experience)
Benefits: Full-time work, September 2020 start, Career progression, CPD, Competitive pay package starting from GBP130, a dedicated consultant and easy transport links to school across Ealing and West London.
The school is based in the Sudbury Hill/Greenford area of Ealing for primary aged children across Early Years to Year 6. All pupils have special educational needs within the school such as autism, sensory needs, speech difficulties, physical disabilities, profound and complex medical conditions.
The school is a modern, innovative, welcoming and caring environment with strong links to the local community and schools. This enables teachers to truly enhance their pupils learning experience though use of outdoor learning and resources within the Ealing community and collaboration with local schools.
Our client school requires a fully qualified teacher with special educational needs (SEN) experience to teach across KS1 and KS2 classes for children with autism across the spectrum. Having experience using PECS, TEACCH, Makaton, Sensory integration and Intensive Interaction is highly beneficial.
The successful teacher will:
- Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or the overseas equivalent
- Have Special Educational Needs Experience and confidence planning and teaching lessons to SEN learners
- Have clear knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
- Be able to adapt teaching style and resources to suit individual SEN pupil needs
- Preferably have Primary Education training or experience but all Fully Qualified Teachers welcome to apply
- Have excellent organisation and communication skills with proven successful experience with pupil progress
- Be able to build and maintain a professional relationship with both the staff, pupils and parents
