Teacher (SEN) - Oldham - immediate start

Job description

A Special School located in Oldham are currently looking to appoint a Nurture Teacher who is available to start immedaitely. This role will involve working Monday - Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm) and as a Teacher you will not be expected to work in School holidays.

The Setting itself is a Special School which is located in Oldham. The Setting is part of a Multi-agency group which is graded as 'outstanding' Provision which caters for pupils with: MLD, SEN and SEMH needs. This particular role will involve working within the Schools Nurture Base supporting pupils who have MLD but also have confidence issues and low self esteem. Ideally the succesful Teacher will have experience working within a Special School or Children's Residential Home.

The succesful Classroom Teacher will have:

- Qualified Teacher Status

- Experience working within a Special School or PRU

- An understanding of how to cater with pupils with self confidence issues and low self esteem
