Teacher - SEMH Provision - Hartlepool

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a qualified teacher with experience of teaching pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs for a Specialist Provision based in Hartlepool. The role is to commence after Christmas on a full time basis.

Ideally applicants would have experience working with KS3/4 pupils with SEMH or challenging behaviour either in an alternative provision/PRU setting or mainstream school. An additional qualification such as Team Teach is desired but not mandatory.

The ideal candidate will have:

-6 months experience teaching students with SEMH in a mainstream or specialist setting

-QTS

- Strong presence and excellent behaviour management

-Team Teach Trained and a good understanding of SEMH/EBD
