Job description

**Lancashire SEN School requires general Teacher**

The School caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and pupils who display challenging behaviours!

The School caters for KS3/4 pupils and they are seeking a general teacher to deliver a number of subjects within a challenging environment. The School is smaller than average and class sizes are generally under 8 pupils per class. The School are looking for the successful candidate to start within the next 4 weeks so ideally the candidate will not have a long notice period to serve.

This role would suit an experienced Teacher who can deliver a range of subjects or a newly qualified Teacher who is trying to gain more experience in different education settings. The role will be full time and the School will expect you to spend one day in School on a voluntary basis to ascertain your suitability for the role.

The candidate will need to hold a teaching qualification and have experience working with challenging pupils.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

* Negotiable pay rates £90-115 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
