Key Stage 1 Teacher - Inner City School

A dynamic inner city school is looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher to start ASAP until the end of the Academic Year (July). Located within a 10 minute walk of 2 of London's largest rail stations (serviced by both the Underground and Overground networks), the school is easily commutable from various London and Outer London locations. This role is a long-term supply contract, with the potential for renewal in September 2018 for the right candidate.

With a diverse student body and well-held reputation within the local community; this school is ideal for an experienced Teacher looking to drive academic achievement and further student development. There will be a large focus on Phonics, and differentiation is a must to maximise the attainment of every individual.

As a full time Class Teacher you will be required to undertake a variety of professional responsibilities including lesson planning, marking and attending parents' evenings. There will be allocated PPA time weekly, and collaborative planning sessions with parallel Year group Teachers. Teamwork is a core focus within the School, with Leadership acknowledging the paramount importance of supporting all members of staff.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

• Experience working with students who use English as a Second Language
• Good knowledge of the UK KS1 Curriculum
• Experience supporting children with mild/moderate Learning Difficulties
