Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for a new challenge?

Do you have experience teaching children who exhibit challenging behaviour?

I am looking for a Primary Teacher to plan and deliver lessons and help to identify and assess individual needs of pupils. You will also be required to liaise with other members of staff such as therapists and teaching assistants to support children to raise standards to their full potential. You will need very strong behaviour management as pupils from this school will have social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

Main responsibilities

  • Liaise closely with teaching assistants and parents to make progress with pupils who need support.
  • Develop and support initiatives to improve maths standards within the school
  • Plan and deliver sessions tailored to individual's progress and set realistic targets in accordance to EHCP to make appropriate progress.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE)
  • Qualification/experience with children who have SEMH
  • Must have experience teaching with secondary aged children
  • Skills to communicate effectively with all other staff members, parents and pupils.
  • Ability to work very hard with positivity and perseverance.
  • Subject to enhance DBS check
