We have a rewarding teaching position for primary trained teachers in an established special needs school in Uxbridge for 5 - 19 year olds with complex learning and social needs including autism and physical disabilities. The role involves planning, teaching and assessing creative individual learning programmes to pupils.

This school in Hillingdon is unique using a semi-formal curriculum throughout the school which focuses on non-academic skills. Having experience in this area is highly beneficial but primary training is essential to this effectively fulfilling this role.

The role

• Planning, teaching and assessing learning programmes for pupils with special needs (EHCP)
• Responsible for a small class of up to 8 children with a range of learning needs
• Working collaboratively with a team of teachers and therapists to set targets to meet the learner's educational and social needs
• Be open to both contributing and learning from staff and specialists

We are looking for a primary trained practitioner, confident in their delivery of high standard lessons while being able to inspire and motivate children and colleagues to reach their full potential.
