Teacher of Welsh (Maternity Cover)
Required from March 2018
The Headteacher and governors of ne of our partner schools are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of Welsh to join a well led and supportive team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward thinking and successful department; At Key Stage 4 all students complete the Second Language Welsh GCSE.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly improving school, with high expectations and aspiration to become an outstanding school. The school has recently benefitted from an extensive rebuild that has provided a first class teaching and learning environment for students and staff.
The post would suit an NQT or suitably experienced teacher who could contribute to the improvement of teaching and learning across the department, and play an important role in realising our ambition to take the school forward and improve the life chances of our young people.
The right candidate will:
-have strong classroom management
-strong organisational and time management
-be able to build meaningful positive relationships with students, staff and parents
-hold a PGCE in Welsh
-enjoy making a difference to the lives of young people
