Are you a Science teacher specialising in either Biology/Chemistry/Physics, and seeking a new position in September? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Science department at a school in Rochdale rated as 'good' by Ofsted
- Full time Teacher of Science role, September 2018 in Rochdale
- Must hold Subject specialist degree; Biology/Chemistry/Physics.
- QTS is essential - both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS £22917 - £38,633 (per annum)
Joining the successful Science department in this 'good' rated school of Ofsted you will be supported fully as well as offered continued progression opportunities while you take on the following duties:
- Plan, prepare and mark lessons, reporting back to senior leadership to develop methods to develop teaching and learning.
- Promote the school values and ethos together with a growth mind-set governed on the development of pupils.
Our client school is a large mixed school in Rochdale, with a strong academic record and an excellent reputation in the community it is very popular in the area. Due to the schools good management and teaching staff they have recently been graded good by Ofsted, and due to this the school require a strong Science teacher or confident Science NQT to help raise attainment while the school attempt to reach outstanding status. With state of the art facilities and a recent refurbishment, including a £1million investment into new IT resources, the school is a perfect place for a Science NQT seeking their first position, or a more experienced Science teacher seeking a new challenge in September.
