Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely alongside a Secondary School in Derby who are seeking a Science Teacher to join them from April 2019 due to a member of staff being promoted.

The school are based South of Derby city centre (close by to the A6) and they cater for students aged 11-18, however the successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and GCSE Science only. Designed as a modern school for the future, the school offers some some great facilities available to students in the area.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A dynamic and experienced Science Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and GCSE pupils
  • Able to exhibit excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Capable of planning diverse lessons which cater to all learning styles and abilities
  • Able to track results and ensure that pupil progress is made
  • Work collaboratively alongside the department: encouraging students to be excited about the subject and promoting the values of the school.
