Science teacher required to start in large Darlington school after Easter

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an exceptional Teacher of Science to work in one of our partnership schools located in Darlington. The Ofsted graded school in all areas needs a Science teacher for a maternity cover and is currently running interviews for the right candidate.

Ofsted inspection has revealed that the "Leaders now have a clear vision for the future. They are focused and determined to build on recent successes, for example in improving pupils' outcomes and the curriculum."

If successful, this is what the school intends to continue building on and will be the expectation for the right candidate. The position is open to experienced and newly qualified teachers that will be able to teach Science to KS3/KS4 on a full-time basis. You will be required to take on the responsibility for planning and marking schemes of work for students, along with supporting in preparation for the end of year examinations. Before applying, please ensure that you have a PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification to be considered for this role
