A mixed comprehensive Secondary school located in Bury, North Manchester is seeking a skilled Teacher of science to join their highly successful staff team on a full time basis from January 2020 or earlier.

The Headteacher is seeking to employ a passionate Teacher of Science to work with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping to create exceptional learning opportunities. The successful post-holder will be an innovative and dynamic practitioner, contributing to the continued development of the curriculum.   • Teacher of Science required from January 2020 or earlier.
  • Must hold QTs alongside relevant degree level qualification or equivalent within Science.
  • Applications are welcome form both experienced and newly qualified teachers as full support will be provided for the successful post-holder.

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £24, 373 - £40, 490.

  • Expected to lead a full time table delivering inventive Science lessons; planning, preparing and evaluating all class work.
  • Effectively teach the National curriculum within the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
  • Develop schemes of work, resources, teaching and learning strategies, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of all pupils.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
