Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a large secondary school in Basingstoke who wish to appoint a highly motivated and creative Teacher of Science from September 2019. This permanent position provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to progress his/her career and would suit either an experienced or a Newly Qualified Teacher of Science wishing to develop his or her potential.

The school have recently invested in their Science faculty building and equipping new labs with state of the art equipment, creating a safe and enjoyable working environment for staff and pupils.

The salary for this role will be paid at MPR/UPR

To be successful you will be:

  • An excellent classroom practitioner.
  • Able to demonstrate success in teaching Science to Key Stages 3 and 4 students of all abilities
  • Have specialist skills in one or some of the following: Biology / Chemistry / Physics
  • Committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our students
  • Able to create a stimulating learning environment
  • Passionate about teaching and learning
  • Able to make a significant contribution to the development of the Science Faculty
