Job description

Teaching Personnel are working with a school based in Bursledon. The school is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive school and it was judged a 'Good' school with 'Outstanding' Leadership and Management (Ofsted, 2017).

MFL Full time September 2019 Start

The MFL Department has grown stronger in the past few years, with the addition of new languages and a fresh IT approach. As a Department we have great opportunities for the students to visit the countries of the languages they are studying. An increasing number of students choose to study languages, with some choosing to take it further onto A Level.

The School are seeking to appoint an innovative MFL teacher who will have the experience, ability, talent and enthusiasm to realise excellent progress and attainment for all students, in particular the ability to teach KS3 & KS4 Spanish. The successful candidate will also support the Director of Learning for MFL in the strategic development of the department.

Teaching Personnel welcome visits to the school to see the department in action and invite you to come and have an informal chat, tour of the site and to meet the Head, staff and students.
