Full time Teacher of Maths required for a Salford Secondary school from February 2019 for an open gap within Mathematics department.

Due to a member of staff on long term sickness this over subscribed Salford Secondary school is seeking to appoint a resilient Teacher of Maths to join their hard working Mathematics department.

The responsibilities for the successful Teacher of Maths will include;

  • Support with the development of Schemes of Work in line with the National Curriculum for Maths.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver differentiated maths lessons to meet the needs of individual learners at various levels of learning.
  • Assess and evaluate class work reporting back to Senior Leadership Teams in order to take appropriate action in order to support pupils in meeting aims and objectives.
  • Promote positive behaviour management skills amongst pupils and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies.

Located in the Worsley region of Salford this growing Secondary school has just over 800 pupils on roll the school is situated across two grounds. It is easily accessible via the M60/ A580 (East Lancashire Road) as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also numerous public transport links readily available with links across Greater Manchester.
