Fixed term, Teacher of Maths required to cover a maternity leave from September 2019 for a Salford based Secondary school.

This large heavily oversubscribed Roman Catholic Secondary school continues to be committed to the development of all staff and pupils. The Head Teacher and the Director of Maths are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative teacher of Maths to cover a maternity leave for a permanent member of staff. The exciting opportunity is suitable for an experienced or newly qualified Teacher of Maths.

  • Full time Teacher of Maths required from September 2019, maternity cover.

Maths has consistently been one of the highest achieving subject areas at Key stages 3 and at GCSE, with pupils continually achieving well above targets. The incoming Teacher of Maths will be expected to instil a passion and appreciation for the subject providing each individual pupil with the best learning opportunities. Our partner school has just over 900 pupils on roll aged 11-16 and is renowned within the local area. Located in Salford this RC faith school is ideally situated to be accessed via the M60/A580 (East Lancashire Road), as well as the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. There are also excellent public transport links readily available.
