Job Opportunity: Inspiring Teacher of Information Technology

Role: Teacher of Information Technology

Working Hours: 32.5 hours per week (0.8 FTE applications welcome)

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Start Date: April 2024

Teaching Personnel are actively seeking an inspirational and dynamic teacher of Information Technology to join a successful faculty team in one of our best schools. We are dedicated to finding an outstanding teacher with a deep commitment to delivering top-tier learning experiences and providing pastoral support to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the highest quality learning experiences in Information Technology
  • Bringing innovative and engaging teaching approaches to make the subject accessible for all
  • Teaching all IT subjects across the 11-16 age range
  • Differentiating learning for pupils of varying abilities.
  • Potential to teach additional subjects at key stage 3 is advantageous.

About the school

The school is a 11-16 mixed comprehensive school located in Pontypool and the surrounding area. Over the years, the school has experienced rapid expansion and currently boasts a student population of approximately 1190 pupils. Our institution is renowned within the community for achieving academic excellence and providing exceptional pastoral care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
