Teacher of History- Warrington

Teacher of History required for a 'GOOD' school in Warrington

  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917- £38,633)
  • 'GOOD' school- Ofsted
  • Possibility of a fixed term/permanent contract dependant upon effectiveness within the role.

Due to a current gap within the Humanities faculty, the Head teacher of our high achieving partner school is seeking a Teacher of History to join their team until the end of the academic year initially. There is also the possibility of a fixed-term/permanent contract being available dependant upon effectiveness within the role.

Our partner secondary school has a high performing atmosphere throughout with the school recently praised for the high standard of teaching which is consistent throughout. Further, the most recent Ofsted report complimented the school for the behaviour of the pupils and their positive attitudes to learning.

It is larger than the average sized secondary school with just under 1,200 pupils on roll. A large percentage of the students are from White British backgrounds. It is located in Warrington and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas. It is also only a short drive away from the Wigan authorities as it is close to the Wigan areas of Golborne and Lowton.

The school are looking to implement a new Teacher of History as soon as possible. Therefore, for immediate consideration, please send an updated CV to Paul via the link below. Alternatively, please contact the Manchester West Secondary branch for further information.
