Teacher of History

Teaching Personnel have been approached by a high performing school located in Stockport to support in the recruit of a Teacher of History.

This full time History position is to start from January 2019 and will be required initially on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year.

It represents an outstanding opportunity for a Teacher of History to join one of the most reputable schools in the Stockport region, who will potentially be looking to recruit on a permanent basis ahead of the 2019/2020 academic year.

Teacher of History Summary:

• Delivering the History curriculum to Key Stages 3 & 4.
• Displaying a commitment to instilling a passion for History amongst the pupils.
• Two term cover paid in line with MSP/UPS (£22,917- £38,633).
• The opportunity to earn a fixed-term/permanent contract at the school following an initial supply assignment until July 2019

Due to an immediate planned absence, the Head teacher of our partner school is seeking to appoint a Teacher of History. This role will initially be on a supply basis but the school are open to taking the successful History Teacher onto a school based contract once suitability for the role has been ascertained.

The History department consists of experienced and passionate teachers who effectively make History a popular subject to study. The curriculum is supported by comprehensive extra-curricular activities such as visits to local museums, universities and trips overseas.
