Teaching Personnel are looking for knowledgeable and enthusiastic people to work in a thriving  secondary school in Solihull as aa History Teacher. Helping Students and working with children on an individual, small-group, or whole-class basis. If you are a recent graduate and are looking to enter the world of teaching in a supportive working environment this may be the role for you.

The role itself focuses on:

  • Planning lessons in History at a basic Secondary level and an advanced GCSE level
  • Delivering engaging History lessons, catering to the diverse needs of students, while ensuring an inclusive and exciting learning environment, whilst also catering to the given curriculum
  • Supporting students in their Learning as well as the engagement of the students in the subject, helping students with upcoming exams and mocks with revision sessions

The successful candidate will be flexible, have a minimum education level of a History Degree (in any Relevant Humanities studies transferable subjects) and an in-date DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one at the point of consideration for the role. With a strong subject knowledge as well as a passion for History.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
